BUILDING QUEER CAPACITY

Kapul Campions is an NGO based in Port Moresby and led by and for gay, bisexual and other men who have sex men, with a primary focus to-date on HIV prevention, treatment and support.

This new project for Many Coloured Sky in 2022 and beyond is a capacity building partnership assisting Kapul Champions to grow and supporting a generation of new and younger community leaders to undertake project development, advocacy and community support. Initial activities have included the provision of information regarding interactions between HIV and COVID-19, to counter the high level of misinformation promoted across PNG communities.
